Easy 2-Ingredient Flatbread
Ready In: 50 mins
Serves: 6
Yields: 7-8 pieces
Ingredients
- 500 ml sour cream (large tub)
- 3 cups self rising flour
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)
Directions
- Mix ingredients into a sticky dough (if you don't have self rising flour, use 3 cups of flour, 3 3/4 tsp of baking powder, and 3/4 tsp of salt).
- Wrap in saran wrap and let it rest for 20 minutes on the counter.
- Cut the dough into 7-8 equal pieces. On a well-floured board, roll out each piece of dough until it is just a few millimeters (1/8 inch) thick.
- Heat a cast iron pan on medium heat, with enough oil to lightly coat the bottom.
- Fry each side of bread for 2 minutes in the hot pan, until you see golden spots forming.
- You will need to add extra oil in the pan before adding a new piece of dough.
- Serve hot.
