Ingredients
Filling
- 6 apples, cored, peeled and sliced thin
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt (optional)
Topping
- 3⁄4 cup oats
- 3⁄4 cup flour
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1⁄3 cup butter, melted
Directions
- Toss the apples with lemon juice and put in a casserole dish.
- Combine the dry ingredients for the filling and toss with apples.
- Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over the apples.
- Bake at 350 F for 45-50 minutes.
