  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Sift together the flour and baking powder. In a bowl, beat the eggs, oil, and milk together. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Carefully fold the egg mixture into the flour to make a smooth batter. Add the cheese, figs, duck meat and apples. Stir gently.
  4. Lightly butter a loaf pan and dust with flour. Pour in the mixture.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes. Check for doneness by sticking the blade of a knife into the loaf-it should come out dry.
  6. Cool the loaf before removing from the pan. Cut into small cubes and serve.
