Drink Your Tiramisu!

Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh brewed espresso
- 1 tablespoon golden granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon amaretto liqueur
- 4 tablespoons mascarpone cheese
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon superfine sugar
Garnish
- chocolate shavings
Directions
- Between 2 mugs mix espresso with golden sugar and amaretto.
- In a small bowl blend the mascarpone, milk, vanilla and super fine sugar until smooth.
- Using the BACK of a WARM, DRY teaspoon held over the mug, pour the mascarpone mix slowly into the mug so it floats on top of the espresso.
- Sprinkle with chocolate flakes and serve with lady finger cookies! YUM!
- *Note: for a non-alcoholic version, replace the amaretto with almond extract.
