Dried Fruit Balls

If you love to camp and enjoy the great outdoors as much as my family, here is a take along snack that is sure to please. Using my dehyrator compacts so many things and makes them easy to take along since it removes the need for refrigeration. Show more

Yields: 30 balls

Directions

  1. In a food processor, finely chop dates, figs, prunes/apricots and raisins.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix chopped fruit with nuts and seeds.
  3. Stir in lemon juice.
  4. Shape into 1/2-1" balls.
  5. Roll in coconut.
  6. Dry in your dehydrator at 135º for 4 to 6 hours, or until crisp on the outside.
