Dried Beef and Noodle Casserole

This is a recipe that I adopted from the "'Zaar". As it stands this is a good warm meal for a chilly night. I will be adapting at some point to see if I can make it even better! Show more

Serves: 5

Ingredients

  • 4  ounces  dried beef, snipped
  • 1  cup water
  • 1  small onion, chopped
  • 2  cups  noodles, uncooked
  • 1 (10 3/4ounce) can  condensed cream of celery soup
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1  cup water
  • 1  teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 4  ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

  1. Cover and microwave dried beef and 1 cup water in 2-qt casserole on high (100%) to boiling, 2 to 3 minutes; drain.
  2. Stir in onion, noodles, soup, milk, water and parsley flakes.
  3. Cover and microwave 10 minutes; stir.
  4. Cover and microwave until noodles are tender, 5 to 6 minutes.
  5. Stir in cheese.
  6. Cover and microwave until melted, 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
