Double Strike

Originally concocted when an attempt to mix a Cosmopolitan went awry, the Double Strike is a potent yet mellow cocktail with a wickedly sensual flavor. Whether relaxing in the shade or partying like there's no tomorrow, the Double Strike will be a welcome companion.

Ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 ounces Absolut vodka
• 1  ounce blue curacao (any kind of triple sec will do)
• 3⁄4 ounce cranberry juice
• 1⁄2 ounce lime juice (use a little less than this)

Directions

1. Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half filled with ice.
2. Shake vigorously.
3. Strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass.
