Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Yields: 48 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 3⁄4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 5 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 5 ounces white chocolate (I use BAKERS brand)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Coarsely chop the chocolate and set aside.
- Cream the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt.
- Slowly beat the dry ingredients into the butter and sugar mixture, being sure not to overbeat the dough.
- Stir in the chocolate.
- Bake on greased cookies trays for 8-10 minutes.
