Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3⁄4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened (no substitutions)
- 1⁄4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 3⁄4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3⁄4 cup white chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, measure all ingredients except semisweet and white chocolate chips. With a mixer at medium speed, beat ingredients until blended and smooth, occasionally scraping bowl with a rubber spatula. With a spoon, stir in the chips.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoons, 2 inches apart, onto large ungreased cookie sheet. Bake cookies for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Immediately transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
