Double Chocolate Caramel Nut Bars

I found this recipe,and have not gotten a chance to make it yet,but it really sounds gooood!

Yields: 24 bars

Ingredients

  • 1  box  German chocolate cake mix
  • 1  cup  chopped  nuts
  • 34 cup  melted butter
  • 50  caramel candies
  • 13 cup evaporated milk
  • 6  ounces  semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Combine cake mix,butter& 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
  2. Spread half of mixture into 13x9-inch pan.
  3. Bake 6 minutes at 350.
  4. Sprinkle the chocolate chips& nuts over baked mixture.
  5. Melt the caramels in milk.
  6. Drizzle over the nuts& chocolate.
  7. Pour the remaining batter on top of this.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes.
  9. Let cool before cutting.
