Double Chocolate and Cherry Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1⁄3 cups granulated sugar
- 2⁄3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups dried tart cherries
- 1 1⁄2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 1⁄2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat Oven to 325 degrees. In large bowl, beat butter with electric mixer on medium high speed for 30 seconds. Add sugars, baking soda, and salt; beat until combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Beat in as much flour as you can with mixer. Stir in any remaining flour. Stir in dried cherries, walnuts, semisweet chocolate chips, and white baking chips(dough will be stiff).
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until golden. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute. Transfer to wire rack; cool.
