Dorothy's Spiced Cranberries

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1⁄2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 3⁄4 teaspoon whole cloves
- 4 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)
Directions
- Combine sugar, vinegar, cinnamon stick, and cloves in a large saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add berries and cook slowly without stirring until all skins pop open.
- Pour into warm sterile jars and seal.
- Note: Chill before serving. At serving time, spoon these delicious cranberries into a serving dish.
