Dill Sauce

This recipe comes from a little book called ABC Jiffy Cookery. I've had it for over 50 years. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet. I'm putting them here so I can find them easier. Show more

Yields: 1 1/2 cups

  1. Melt butter, add arrowroot. Stir until smooth. Add beef broth and boil until creamy. Add dill weed, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Remove from heat. Beat egg with sour cream. Add to sauce; heat, serve over bread or potato dumplings.
