Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons pine nuts
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 1 teaspoon barley sugar
- 1 teaspoon licorice, stick (not the root)
- 2 teaspoons ground almonds
Directions
- Grind all the ingredients together with a mortar and pestle.
- When fine enough mix in 2 teaspoons ground almonds.
- Add your own spices to flavour or to ease a cough for example:
- Cinnamon, allspice, clove, ginger or cardamom.
- Add a little water to make a paste.
- Place on a board and lightly cover with granulated sugar and cut into pieces.
