Devilled Chicken

Spicy chicken dish which children and teenagers will love. Serve with fries and corn on the cob.

Directions

  1. Place the chicken portions on a board.
  2. Mix the sugar, ginger, mustard and curry powder together.
  3. Rub well into the surface of the chicken. Leave for 2 hours.
  4. Arrange the chicken on a grid in 2 roasting pans.
  5. Melt the butter and brush all over the chicken.
  6. Bake in a preheated moderately hot oven, 400°F for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Mix the ketchup and sauces together and brush over the chicken portions.
  8. Return to the oven for 10 minutes.
  9. Arrange on a warmed serving dish and serve immediately.
