Den's Taco Macaroni Casserole

This is an economical and tasty dish to make...I have to double it as my family loves this!!...Instead of ketchup,you could sub with tomato sauce and use more or less to your liking.

Ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 cups  uncooked macaroni
• 1  lb lean ground beef
• 1  cup  shredded cheddar cheese
• 1  cup  chopped onion
• 1  cup  sliced celery
• 1  garlic clove, minced
• 1  tablespoon ketchup (I use more)
• 1  teaspoon cumin
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
• 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
• 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Cook macaroni.
3. Saute onions and celery in a tablespoon of butter,then add ground beef and cook until browned;drain off fat.
4. Stir in spices.
5. Mix all ingredients in large bowl or the pan you cooked the meat in.
6. Combine cheddar cheese while the pasta is still warm,reserving enough cheese to sprinkle on the top to melt.
7. Spoon into a greased casserole dish and top with reserved cheese.
8. Bake for about 45 minutes.
9. Serves 4.
