Delicious Drop Sugar Cookies

These cookies are soooo yummy!! And so easy too. They literally will melt in your mouth! Use food coloring to jazz them up or sprinkles! I love using holiday colored sugar sprinkles on mine and I let the kids add the sprinkles. Great addition to any cookie tray!

Ingredients

• 2  cups butter
• 1  cup  oil
• 1  cup granulated sugar
• 1  cup powdered sugar
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1  egg
• 5 1⁄3 cups flour
• 1  teaspoon baking soda
• 1  teaspoon cream of tartar

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
3. cream butter, oil, and both sugars together. Add the egg and vanilla.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients.
5. Form dough into small balls and smash with the bottom of a sugared glass, or use a fork and dip it in sugar than press onto cookie (as you would with peanut butter cookies.).
6. Add sprinkles (optional).
7. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
