Delicious Apple Pie Cake

This is a fantastic recipe, and a great way to use up the apples that you may have on hand, or in this case, the can of apple pie filling. Either way, it's tasty. Turbinado sugar is sometimes used in place of brown sugar. It's also called "sugar in the raw" and can be found next to the granulated sugar. I think that this is much better served warm, and served with a piece of cheddar cheese. Or, some vanilla yougurt would be nice. Rather than heating the whole cake up, try heating individual pieces in the microwave. Show more

  4. Stir in the pie filling.
  5. Pour the mixture into a well-greased, nine-inch deep dish pan.
