- Partially cook apples in a 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 caserole dish. Mix sugar, salt, and nutmeg and sprinkle over apples. Spread molasses over apples and dot with butter. Place pastry over all and trim,seal, and crimp edges.
- Bake 30 minutes at 425°F.
