Decadent Zucchini Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 1 3⁄4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1⁄4 cup cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1⁄2 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups grated zucchini
- 1 1⁄2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Cream butter, oil, and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
- Add sifted or well blended dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
- Blend in zucchini.
- Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
- May dust with powdered sugar after it has cooled, if desired.
