Directions

  1. Mix sugar, milk and syrup and heat to a boil.
  2. Add dates and cook to soft-ball at 236 degrees.
  3. Roll into a loaf approximately 2-1/2 to 3 inches in diameter in a cold wet cloth.
  4. Leave until cool (24 hours).
  5. Slice and enjoy.
