Dark Chocolate Shortbread

Directions

  1. Mix sugar and butter. Cream well.
  2. Add vanilla.
  3. Mix dry ingredients.
  4. Add gradually to creamed mixture.
  5. Knead well.
  6. Shape into two 9 inch logs.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate from one to 24 hours.
  8. Preheat overn 350F.
  9. Slice into 1/4 inch slices and bake on parchment paper lined cookie sheets for 20 minutes.
  10. Drizzle tops with melted white chocolate while still warm.
