Dark Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch)  baked  pie crusts
  • 23 cup sugar
  • 13 cup cornstarch
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 4  large  egg yolks
  • 3  cups milk
  • 2  tablespoons butter
  • 1  tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2  cups  dark chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Stir together sugar, cornstarch, and salt in saucepan. Combine egg yolks with milk and gradually add to sugar mixture. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Add melted chocolate and pour into pie crust. Cool.
