Dark Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄3 cup cocoa
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup canola oil
- 1⁄2 cup sour milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1⁄2 cup boiling water
- 1⁄3 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 1 1⁄2-2 1⁄2 tablespoons milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon peppermint extract
Directions
- Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cocoa, vanilla, oil, milk and egg in large bowl. Add boiling water; stir to combine. Pour into 8" square pan. Bake at 350-degrees for 35 minutes. Beat remaining ingredients. Spread over cooled cake.
