Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 lemon, rind of
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together. Put into loaf pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees F fo.
- r 1 hour or until done.
- Drizzle glaze made of juice of 1 lemon and 1/3 cup sugar over hot bread.
