Daisie's Mom's Pepermint Fudge

Yields: 1 8-inch cake pan
Ingredients
- 1 (300 g) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate (2 of those baker's squares)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 (8 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1⁄3 cup finely crushed candy cane
- 3⁄4 cup coarsely crushed candy cane
Directions
- 1. In bowl, combine chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate, butter and condensed milk. Microwave, uncovered at high for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until chocolate melts. Stir until mixture is smooth.
- 2. Stir in finely crushed candy. Spread in greased 8-inch square cake pan. Pat coarsely crushed candy over top.
- 3. Cover and chill until firm. Cut into squares to serve.
