Dad's Saucy Meat Loaf

Serves: 8
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs ground chuck
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 8 tablespoons bennets chili sauce (you can use Kraft but it's not as good)
- 1⁄4 cup chopped onion 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon lea & perrin Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 deg.
- Combine grnd chuck, oats, milk, 2 Tbs chili sauce(save back 6 Tbs for sauce) onion, egg, Lea & Perrins, and chili powder.
- Form into loaf shape and Bake 1hr.
- Combine remaining chili sauce w/brown sugar. Spread over meatloaf.
- Bake additional 15 minute or until thermometer reads 165 deg.
- Let stand 10 min and slice.
- If desired, serve with Yukon Gold Homemade ( no instant) Mashed Potatoes and corn.
