Curry of Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1⁄3 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1⁄4-1⁄2 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 dash chili powder
- 1 dash pepper
- 2 lbs shrimp, cleaned and cooked, split lengthwise in half
Directions
- Melt butter; add onion, green pepper, and garlic. Cook until tender but not brown. Stir in sour cream, lemon juice, and seasonings; add shrimp. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, just until heated through. (Sauce is traditionally thin.).
