Cuppa Slice

Yields: 16 slices
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup margarine, melted
- 1 cup coconut, dessicated or shredded
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar or 3⁄4 cup raw sugar
- 1⁄2 cup raisins (or any dried fruit, more or less according to your taste)
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips (more or less according to your taste)
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together
- Place in slice tin
- Bake in a moderate oven (180C) 25 - 30 minutes
- Cool in tin, slice and then dust with icing sugar
- Variation: Add 1 or 1 and a half chopped green apples and some cinnamon in place of dried fruit and chocolate
- Serve hot with custard
