Cucumber Slices

Yields: 8 quarts

Directions

  1. Cover the vegetables with water and ice chips and weigh them down, with a plate on top, so everything is under water for 3 hours. Drain.
  2. Mix the last 7 ingredients for the syrup. Heat the syrup.
  3. Add the heated syrup to the drained vegetables.
  4. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Seal.
  5. Water bath for 30 minutes.
