Crostini a La Ristorante Delicata

Yields: 8-10 crostini
Ingredients
- 8 -10 slices French bread, sliced about 1/2-inch thick (or any similar type bread)
- 6 ounces fromage blanc goat cheese (Chevre for example. We used plain chevre with no herbs or any other additions.)
- 4 -6 ounces baby arugula (ideally from your garden or the local farmer's market)
- 3 -4 large strawberries, cleaned, hulled and sliced 1/4-inch
- 2 tablespoons dark balsamic vinegar (good quality!)
Directions
- First toast or broil the bread slices until golden.
- Spread the goat cheese on each slice of bread.
- Add a scattering of baby arugula then top with a slice of strawberry.
- For the final touch, drizzle with a {{very light touch}} of dark balsamic vinegar.
