Crockpot Caramel Apples

Ingredients
- 4 large tart apples, cored
- 1⁄2 cup apple juice
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 12 red cinnamon candies
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 8 vanilla caramels
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
- Peel about 3/4-inch off the top of each apple and place them in a crockpot.
- Pour apple juice over apples and fill the center of each apple with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 3 cinnamon candies, 1 tablespoon of butter, and 2 vanilla caramels. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon.
- Cover and cook on low until apples are tender but not too soft. Serve warm as is or with cream or whipped topping. Mmmm -- good.
