Crock Pot Steak and Gravy

I found this recipe in our local paper. I was looking for easy crockpot meals to fix when I am in nursing school! I think I will try it with mashed potatoes.

• Serves: 4
• Yields: 4 cube steaks

Ingredients

• 4  cube steaks
• 4  tablespoons  oil
• 1 1⁄4 ounces  brown gravy mix
• 1 1⁄4 ounces  onion soup mix
• 2  cups water

Directions

1. Brown steaks in oil. Stir gravy mix, soup mix, and water together and pour into crockpot. Place steaks in gravy mixture and cook on low 5-6 hours.
