Crock Pot Shredded Beef

I got this simple recipe form a co-worker many years ago. It is a great fall/winter meal. You can use any kind of roast. I have not tried it with pork but was told that it was just as good as the beef. You can adjust the amount of chili powder and brown sugar depending on how spicy or sweet you like it. The leftovers also freeze well. Show more

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients except roast in the crock pot.
  2. Stir until combined.
  3. Place roast in sauce.
  4. Cook on low 7-9 hours or until roast shreds (cooking time depends on toughness of meat).
