Crisp Cornmeal Waffles

I love the taste of cornmeal and decided to change one of my waffle recipies to accommodate my taste one day. Wow... they were a hit!

Ingredients

• 2  eggs
• 1 1⁄2 cups milk
• 1⁄2 cup  vegetable oil
• 1 1⁄2 cups flour
• 1⁄2 cup cornmeal
• 4  teaspoons baking powder
• 2  teaspoons sugar
• 1  tablespoon honey
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients.
2. Pour into hot waffle maker and cook.
3. Serve with warm syrup and butter.
