Crisp 5 Minute Cabbage

I am a cabbage lover, and this is an easy way to get your 'cabbage fix'

Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups milk
  • 4  cups  shredded cabbage
  • 2  tablespoons flour
  • 2  tablespoons margarine, melted
  •  salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Heat milk and add cabbage.
  2. Boil gently 2 minutes.
  3. Mix flour and marg. Add a little hot milk from the cabbage.
  4. Stir into the cabbage.
  5. Cook and stir 3-4 minutes longer til thickened.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
