- Simmer first 3 ingredients for 3 to 4 hours.
- Add the second 3 ingredients and simmer for a few minutes.
- Beat well. Stir in the milk.
- Put into bowls to cool, stirring occasionally while cooling.
- Store covered in fridge.
- NOTE:.
- A layer of fat may coat the top; you can remove this as you use the spread.
