Creamy Rice Pudding With Raisins

Ingredients
- 3 1⁄2 cups milk
- 1⁄2 cup sugar, divided
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1⁄2 cup long-grain rice
- 2 egg yolks
- 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Heat milk, 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon in saucepan just to boil; stir in rice and reduce heat to low.
- Cover and simmer 40 minutes.
- Whisk yolks, cream, remaining 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla in bowl.
- Stir into rice mixture.
- Bring to boil; cook, stirring, 2 minutes.
- Remove cinnamon.
- Cool 30 minutes.
