Creamy Nut Frosting

Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 tablespoons cake flour
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup shortening
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 orange rind, grated
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Directions
- Cook flour and milk until forms a thick paste. Chill.
- Cream butter, sugar and salt. Add paste and beat until fluffy.
- Add vanilla, nuts and rind; stir inches.
- Blend in powdered sugar.
