Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Ready In: 30 mins
Serves: 6
Yields: 2 Cups
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons oil (I use Olive, Coconut or Avocado Oil)
- 6 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1⁄2 cups heavy cream
Directions
- Place a large skillet over medium heat. When hot, add oil, then mushrooms. Sauce mushrooms for about 8 minutes, until they are browned and crusty. Add garlic and sauce for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil, scraping any bits off the bottom of the pan. Reduce heat and simmer for about 7 minutes until almost dry.
- Add cream. Bring to a slight boil. Let boil for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.
