Creamy Frosting

This easy-to-make frosting is creamy and light. You can substitue whatever flavor pudding you like to make a variety of frostings. Show more

Yields: 2 8" cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 5/8ounce) package  any flavor cook and serve pudding
  • 1  cup milk
  • 12 cup butter or 12 cup oleo
  • 12 cup  Crisco
  • 1  cup sugar
  • 1  teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Cook pudding and milk in saucepan until thick. Let cool.
  2. Beat together butter, crisco, sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
  3. Add pudding and beat more.
  4. The longer you beat it, the creamier it gets.
