Creamy Dill Clam Dip

Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) carton sour cream
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄3 cup white onion, finely chopped
- 1 (6 1/2ounce) can minced clams, drained, reserve juice
- 1 -1 1⁄2 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1 large garlic cloves, finely minced or 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice or 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon clam juice
- 1 pinch sea salt
- fresh ground black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Mix sour cream and mayo together until well blended with a spoon. Add onion, clams, nectar and lemon juice and mix well again. Add dill, salt, garlic, and pepper to taste and mix again. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving to blend all flavors. Mix again just before serving.
- Serve with chips or crackers.
