Creamy Crunchy Tuna Casserole

This is a quick twist on an old favorite.

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 1  cup  chow mein noodles (I prefer La Choy in a can)
  • 1 (10 ounce) can  condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tuna
  • 18 cup milk
  • 14 cup peas
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms
  • 3  slices  white bread, cubed

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray 11x7 (2 quart) baking pan with non-stick spray.
  3. Line bottom of pan with chow mein noodles.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine soup, tuna and milk.
  5. Stir till creamy.
  6. Add peas and mushrooms.
  7. Pour mixture in pan over chow mein noodles.
  8. Cover mixture with cubed bread.
  9. Bake for about 15 minutes.
  10. Serve immediately.
