Creamy Chocolate Frosting

My mother has made this recipe for years. I don't know where it came from, but it is really easy and so much better than frosting from a can.

• Yields: 1 cake

Ingredients

• 3  tablespoons butter
• 3  ounces  hershey's baking chocolate
• 3  cups powdered sugar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 1  teaspoon vanilla

Directions

1. Melt butter in small sauce pan. Add chocolate and stir constantly over very low heat until melted.
2. Pour into a small mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients. Beat until well blended.
3. Chill until spreading consistancy.
