Creamy Bean Dip

This dip takes about 5 minutes to get in the oven, and it's delicious. I use my own homemade taco seasoning mix Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix instead of store bought. Recipe courtesy of Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove Cookbook. Makes 6 cups.

Ingredients

• 15  ounces  refried beans
• 4  ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
• 1  cup sour cream
• 1 1⁄4 ounces  taco seasoning mix (or Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix)
• 1⁄2 lb Velveeta cheese or 1⁄2 lb sharp cheddar cheese, cut into cubes

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. In a large bowl, blend beans, cream cheese, sour cream, and seasoning mix.
3. Fold in cheese cubes.
4. Scoop dip into a 2-quart casserole.
5. Bake 30 minutes, until cheese melts and dip is warmed through.
