Creamy Authentic Carbonara

Ingredients
- 1 lb fettuccine
- 1 1⁄2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1⁄2 lb prosciutto, sliced thin and chopped
- 1⁄4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1⁄4 cup parsley
Directions
- Boil pasta until al dente.
- While pasta is boiling heat cream until just warm.
- Drain pasta and toss with melted butter.
- Add eggs to cream mixture and stir to combine, then toss with pasta.
- Add proscuitto, parsley, and parmesan cheese to pasta and toss to combine.
- Serve immediately.
