Creamy 3 Cheese Macaroni

Very creamy and delicious. The Alfredo sauce makes the difference. If you don't want to add the bread crumb topping, sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese, brown and serve. Yum! Show more

Yields: 5 cups

Ingredients

  • 8  ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 (15 -16 ounce) jar alfredo sauce
  • 2  cups  shredded cheddar cheese (I use sharp Cheddar)
  • 14 cup  shredded parmesan cheese (I use more)
  • 2  tablespoons  dried breadcrumbs
  • 1  tablespoon butter, melted

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. In a large skillet, or saucepan, over medium heat, heat Alfredo sauce and Cheddar cheese until cheese melts.
  3. Drain pasta, reserving some of the pasta water.
  4. Add hot pasta to pan, toss to coat. Stir in a little pasta water if sauce is too thick. Top with combined Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs and butter.
  5. Brown in 350 degree oven until just brown on top.
