Cream Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1⁄2 onion, minced
- 4 mixed mushrooms, chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 3 teaspoons butter
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons hot chili sauce (cock sauce)
Directions
- Saute onion and mushrooms in oil over medium low heat until onions are soft and mushrooms have released some liquid.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper and basil and sauté for another few minutes.
- Melt together cream cheese and butter in a saucepan over low heat until smooth and creamy. Stir in milk and cock sauce.
- Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly for 3 minutes.
- Serve over pasta.
