Cream Cheese Middle Substitute (No-Cook Divinty)

This recipe was posted in reply to a thread request for no-cook divinity, but in preparing, I (and others)have found it does not harden like a typical divinity. It is delicious, but does have the consistency of a cream-cheese middle. When I made it, it was a substitute for the cream cheese middle for a dessert and worked wonderfully. If you're aiming for this to make divinity candy, it doesn't work as even another reviewer had the same outcome as I did. I didn't whip the candy for as long as the recipe states on purpose for my benefit, but obviously when doing it exactly as the recipe states it doesn't work either. Show more
