Crazy Good Cranberry Bread

A friend made this bread for breakfast and gave me a slice to try. It tasted so good that I begged her for the recipe. I am not sure where she got it, but it is darn good! Show more

  1. In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients: cut in the butter until crumbly.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the egg, orange juice and peel. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in the cranberries and raisins. Transfer to a greased 8 inches by 4 inches loaf pan.
  3. For the Streusel:.
  4. Combine brown sugar and flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 55-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in pan before removing onto a wire rack. Let cool off completely.
  5. For Glaze:.
  6. Combine confectioners' sugar and orange juice and stir until smooth, drizzle over cooled bread.
